Family breakfast notes for Oat yogurt topping.
Ingredients

- Nonstick cooking spray
- 2 cups regular rolled oats
- ¾ cup coarsely chopped walnuts and/or almonds
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar or brown sugar substitute equivalent to 1/4 cup brown sugar (see Tip)
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon (Optional)
Instructions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- Coat a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.ADVERTISEMENT
- Step 2In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, nuts, brown sugar, oil, salt, and, if desired, cinnamon.
- Spread in an even layer in prepared baking pan.
- Bake about 25 minutes or until golden brown, stirring twice.
